i am in thrall, as surely as if i were wearing a physical device. the knowledge of how disappointed i would be, the sense of failure i would experience, is more effective than any lock. locks have keys. anyone who can obtain a key can open a lock. this restriction only J can lift.
It is amazing how easily we mortals can learn to take for granted the simplest and most basic and primal of our biological needs and desires. Often it is only when we have the strength to deny ourselves or others have the power of will to deny us on our behalfs that we truely have the opertunity to realise how precious these gifts are.
ReplyDeleteI admire your perserverance hun, and applaud it. But you speak of failure and disappointment when you have the right to sing of success and elation. In the denial of these most basic of pleasures you will train your mind to experience pleasures that are all the greater, and the release when it comes will be all the sweeter because of it.
Become the phoenix and the fires that burn you now will warm you and renew you, and when you learn to embrace the flame, you will emerge reborn.
